anne johannsen

Cocktail Brut : Hi Anne! We are SO happy at Cocktail Brut to have you as a cocktail girl, you are like our Danish muse!!! As we are very curious, we want to know more about girls we love and admire, and this is the opportunity to introduce you to our frenchies readers!!

Anne : My name is Anne Johannsen. I live in Copenhagen, but I am originally from a small town called Billund (home of LEGO). I work as an Area Manager for Ganni and do some instagraming on the side. I am very in to movies (complete geek), food, art and of course fashion. I have always felt the need to stand out and since colours have such a positive effect on my mood, I’ve decided to wrap myself in them.

Cocktail Brut : Can you tell us more about yourself? What do you like to do in your everyday life?

Anne : I love living in Copenhagen. When I was a kid, I would come here to visit my family and ever since then, I knew that I wanted to live here someday. I always ride my bike, if I want to go somewhere, since it is actually faster than taking the bus. There is nothing better, than to ride your bike alongside the lakes in the sunshine ending up sitting on a bench somewhere with a glass of wine. Even though Copenhagen is a big city, it has a cozy vibe to it and you never know, where you are going to end up when you walk out the door.

Cocktail Brut : How is living in Copenhagen?

Cocktail Brut : If we had to visit you, where are you going to take us?

Anne : Now that the summer is coming up, we would definitely ride our bikes to Charlottenlund Søbad - the best place to go for a swim in the ocean. After that we would go to Louisiana and enjoy the amazing view after looking at the current exibition. Later we would end up at my balcony enjoying a glass of wine and a homecooked meal looking at the sunset. Just realized this totally sounds like a date.

Cocktail Brut : What do you think of the Danish style? And the Parisienne?

Anne : Danish style is very practical. We like contrasts such as pairing a long floral dress with a pair of sneakers and a bum bag. French style is elegant - without trying too much and a bit more sexy compared to Danish style. I like mixing them up.

Cocktail Brut : Your style is handled by a perfect control of your pastel color palette, what are your inspirations ??

Anne : I am very inspired by colorcombinations. I love strolling around at a museum by myself and taking pictures of what inspires me. When I wake up in the morning I often go “today I only want to wear ocean colours” or “today I want to look like a modern version of that painting I saw yesterday”. When you get inspired by colours as much as I do inspiration is everywhere.

Cocktail Brut : What is your deepest dream ?

Anne : Right now I dream of travelling in Asia. I am obsessed with South Korea at the moment and I am planing to book a trip very soon. Oh and I also dream of buying my own appartment in Copenhagen where I have chosen every single detail.

Cocktail Brut : Rather vintage or designer piece ?

Anne : Vintage. No question. I love it when an item has a history. It makes it more valuable, charming and unique to me. The sustainability aspect of it is also very important. My wardrobe is probably 60% vintage.

Cocktail Brut : What are your 3 fave pieces from Cocktail Brut?

Anne : These ones !

Thank you Anne <3
